Disney Cruise Line News: August 29, 2022
It’s getting easier to sail with Disney Cruise Line! DCL announced this morning that they are dropping testing requirements for some guests. Fully vaccinated guests sailing DCL will no longer be required to participate in COVID-19 testing before sailing. Guests who are NOT fully vaccinated must continue providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test one to three days before boarding. However, guests who are not fully vaccinated will no longer be required to complete a second test at the terminal on embarkation day. The new procedures take effect starting:
September 23, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, and Disney Wonder.
November 7, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Magic
Earlier this month, Disney Cruise News announced that COVID-19 vaccines would no longer be required for guests under 12 beginning September 2. DCL requires guests 12 and older to be vaccinated, but they will no longer be required to test before sailing. If your child aged 11 and younger is NOT fully vaccinated, you must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test 1-3 days before embarkation. Contact your FTJ Agent with any questions about these policies.
With reduced COVID-19 testing protocols, a return of non-socially distanced character interactions, and no requirement for children to be vaccinated, Disney Cruise Line continues returning to pre-covid normality. Contact your Fairytale Journeys Advisor to book your next sailing! Remember, FTJ offers On Board Credit of up to $1000 on all qualifying bookings!
