We booked my first Disney trip on my own and thought I had a pretty good idea of how to plan for future visits. Until we decided to go to Disneyland.  I had a very hard time finding tips, tricks, and information until I found a Disney Vacation Planner.

I found Carrie and I am so glad I did and we have used her for all my Disney trips since then!  Carrie’s style was just what I needed. We needed someone to answer our questions and make us aware of things most people don’t know.

The transportation, resorts and even meals were much different than Disney World.  Carrie even answered questions while on my trip.  I talk to a lot of people that say they will just book on their own, but I recommend Carrie for a few reasons.  1) She notifies me of relevant info before I even find it on the blogs (when the gondolas were opening, discounts, etc) 2) She is a great resource for questions and 3) She gets us in the best rooms! Disneyland had a view of the fireworks and we had adjoining rooms with my parents.

We had a view of fireworks and Castaway Cay for the cruise (my kids still talk about sitting on the balcony watching the cruise ship pull into port there).

Somehow she was able to even get us into a cars room at Art of Animation when I couldn’t even book a room on my own.  Our last vacation we stayed at Pop and we were perfectly centered between the pool, buses and gondolas!  She always gets us adjoined or close to our other family members.Carrie’s personal touch of sending us something before our trips is something the kids look forward to now and I do too!

The first trip was a cooler backpack that we have used during every single trip.  There are a lot of things I wouldn’t have known or been prepared for if we didn’t use Carrie who is with Fairytale Journeys Travel, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

I wanted to thank you again for booking our vacation to Disney for 4 days and the 3day cruise…for ALL 17 of us and traveling during one of the busiest times of the year (Christmas)!!!!

You did an amazing job and were in constant communication with us through the entire process. I appreciate that you really made yourself available for any questions, concerns or challenges we had and you handled everything beautifully.

We have used another similar service in the past and I can tell you that you blew them away on all fronts. We loved all of the venues you chose for us: Parke Place, Garden Grill and the Crystal Palace. You set up all of our fast passes and arranged for transportation for all of to and from. Was able to secure a scooter rental for my mother in law and get my in laws from the port to Fort Lauderdale after the trip. You did so many big things but added small touches.

I will recommend you to anyone whose asks and even if I overhear anyone talking about Disney I will just insert myself in and tell them about you and what you can do. Will definitely use you again in the future!!!!

As an avid Disney fan, I’ve booked my fair share of Walt Disney World vacations on my own. However, when it came to booking my Christmas Vacation at Walt Disney World, I felt like I needed some help. From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to The Christmas Tree Trail in Disney Springs, Sharleen made sure we fit everything into our schedule and planned in some much-needed rest and relaxation time. There would be a lot of things I would have missed out on if it weren’t for Sharleen. I now use Sharleen for all of my Disney Vacation planning and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Laura Greco ~ I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you of the wonderful experience I encountered while having Laura Greco plan our recent trip to Disneyland. From the moment I contacted Laura I felt that I was chatting with an old friend, a helpful knowledgeable one at that, who was eager and happy to assist me in making my dreams a reality. My husband and I were married at Disney World in 1997, and I have personally planned over 50 trips to Florida.When i began planning our Disneyland trip I quickly realized it was very different from Disney World and that I needed some guidance. Tony McDaniel – I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your hard work in booking my family’s Disney vacation. It was a HUGE success. It was planned perfectly. The fast passes were of course life savers. The crowds were enormous, especially at Magic Kingdom. But throughout all the chaos, we had a wonderful time. We’re already talking about out next Disney vacation! The Bay Lake Tower ended up being the perfect space for us to unwind, and so conveniently located!It was truly a one of a kind experience for me, as i had never been to Disney before. I’ve never seen anything like it, it was truly fascinating. I really enjoyed each park. The Harry Potter experiences at both Universal Parks were incredible. Lily loved picking out her wand and going throughout the parks using it to create magic. The Hogwarts Express was so cool! It was so fun to watch. The Be Our Guest dinner was really amazing, what a room.They really got it right, down to every detail. I can’t say enough about the trip, it was so enjoyable. I think my favorite day was Hollywood Studios as that was the day that the crowds were a bit less, and it allowed us to do additional rides (not just the fast passes). Also, we did a night at Disney Springs and had dinner at STK. Great dinner and great shopping! The safari at Animal Kingdom was also a highlight.It was interesting to see the difference between Universal and Disney. The Universal fast passes were great in that you weren’t constrained to a time, however they weren’t nearly as ‘fast’ as the Disney fast pass. Also, the option to ride alone and/or swap and not wait if you had a child who didn’t want to ride was also neat.The kids got to meet all the characters they loved. It was so fun to experience this trip with them. Walt Disney truly did create a park for parents and children to have fun.The Luau was the perfect ending to the vacation. We were front and center!! Jackie even got pulled up on stage for a dance! I’ve been to a traditional Luau in Kona before and this was just as good, maybe even more entertaining. The fire entertainer was the best i’ve ever seen. Really incredible.Thank you again. We could not have done this without your help!!!!!I took over 1000 pictures, whittled them down to just under 300 for a picture book i will most certainly create. SUSANNE HAYS

My love for Disney began when I was a young girl, and my parents took me to Disney with my brothers for a boy scout trip. During High School, I attended Benjamin Russell in Alexander City, AL, where I was a majorette in the band. We were given the opportunity to perform at Magic Kingdom during one of their parades, which was a dream come true and such an honor to have been chosen. Walt Disney’s vision was to dream, believe, dare, and do. I think this is still true today!

I began my travel experience at another home-based travel agency, where I learned about the travel business. During this time, my love for Disney and the magical experience Disney offered became the focus of my travel business.

The many years of experience in sales and the importance of customer service, loyalty, and dedication for every client to have a magical experience is when Fairytale Journeys, LLC was created. For the past 20 years, my family and I have visited Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani. I enjoy helping others plan their magical vacations to WDW. I give each client the personal service that they should have. I ensure everything is taken care of for their magical vacation from the beginning of the reservations to the end.
