Sandals South Coast Review
This is a perfect place for guests who are seeking a laid back all inclusive resort! Sandals South Coast lies in a remote area of Jamaica, in the relatively undiscovered town of Whitehouse, which is located about two hours drive from Montego Bay airport. It is the only resort in this secluded area.This Property covers two miles stretch of pristine beach, surrounded by a large wilderness preserve, making it quiet and very private.
At all Sandals Resorts, there is a no tipping policy, as absolutely everything is included. Guests may only tip Spa staff or Butlers if they wish.
One of a Kind Rooms!
Sandals South Coast has a large selection of rooms for all types of guests. Every room in this resort will have a view of the water. Each room will include air conditioning, spa shower amenities, coffee makers and a mini bar filled with sodas, local beer and water, plus have a balcony or patio
The Club Level Rooms will all offer extra amenities – free Wi-Fi, Private Events, Free Room Service, Liquor in your room, plus a dedicated Concierge Staff who will help you with dining and activities reservations. Butler Rooms are made for guests who want a truly luxurious experience. Guests will get a private butler who will assist with anything guests require. These rooms are larger in size and typically include whirlpool tubs.
There are several villages at the resort – Italian, Dutch, French. Each has a number of rooms ranging from Standard Luxe (just basic rooms) to Butler (extravagant service). Best of all, his Resort also offers Rondovals and Over-the-Water Bungalows which all have Butler Service.
South Seas Rondoval Swim-Up Suites feature private infinity-edge plunge pools, with access to a zero-entry 17,040 sq. Ft. pool, the longest pool in the Western Hemisphere. A scalloped Tranquility Soaking Tub for two plus a cozy indoor wicker swing, with scenic outdoor views, on a private sundeck.
Over – The -Water Bungalows
Over-the-Water Bungalows, at Sandals South Coast, are incredibly romantic and private. These Bungalows have been arranged to form a heart and offer water views from every angle. You’ll see the water from the Butlers Kitchenette and entryway, to the king-sized bed, to the glass bottom floor and even the indoor-outdoor shower. Most of all, the highlight of the Suite is the outdoor deck! It is a perfect launching point for jumping right in with a snorkel.
The oversized hammock and loungers, plus luxuriously deep soaking tub, allow you to relax in perfect tranquility. These are also the ONLY rooms that come with around-the-clock 24 Hour Butler Service. Most importantly, you are truly living your best life here!
The resort itself is spacious and spread over a two mile stretch of beach. At Sandals South Coast you can enjoy three unique poolside experiences, including Jamaica’s largest zero-entry pool and two Renaissance-style pools.
Sandals World Class Dining
You will be able to dine at 9 different World-Class Restaurants. The Dining options vary from quick pizza bites to upscale cuisine. There are Buffet and a la carte style restaurants which are open for breakfast or you can just grab quick pastry from the bakery. Because of this, there are no buffets for lunch or dinner.
At night you can enjoy many bonfire and fire pits areas, in this very unique adults only destination. As a result, you will enjoy a variety of different nightly events! Which includes, talent shows, live music, beach parties, cocktail parties, and theme nights located at the Stage and Entertainment Area.
Water and Land Sports Available
A wide variety of water and land sports are available, including snorkeling, sailing, paddle boarding, beach volleyball, tennis, kayaking. Scuba lessons are offered at extra cost or if you are already certified you can dive for free. You can even get your PADI Certification here on site, with stays longer than 6 nights. Most importantly, {You are not able to dive on arrival or departure day}
You can also use their modern fitness center at the Red Lane Spa. It’s ALL included in the cost of your stay here. The Red Lane Spa also offers a large assortment of different spa treatments for an additional cost. However, we can add that into your package to truly give you an ALL Inclusive Escape. Because of this, you don’t need to spend any money during your stay.
Weddings At Sandal South Coast
At the wedding lounge guests can plan their special day or anniversary events, and gazebos are located all along the beach for wedding sites and private dining. Even better, the Weddings at Sandals South Coast can be FREE when you stay a certain number of nights and/or have rooms for guests accompanying you! You can even do a Retie the Knot ceremony for only $300, which includes the ceremony plus cake and reception. Because of this, any one can do a courthouse wedding at home.
