Hello! My name is Laurel, and I have always had an interest in travel planning. Growing up, my mother thoroughly planned every one of our many family vacations, and I admired how well each trip always came together, especially our Disney trips. She was never a travel agent officially, but she knew all the ins and outs and secrets to planning the perfect Disney trip.

In high school, I started taking an interest in how she planned everything so well. When I was 17, she let me in on her process, and we took a family trip to Disney World that year where I learned everything she knew, from the best times to do certain things around the parks to how to book Lightning Lanes.

After I graduated college, with her guidance over the years, I surprised her with a mother-daughter trip to Disney World that I planned entirely myself. She still gave her input along the way, of course, but it was an absolute core memory for both of us. Disney is where my mom and I truly bonded, and today I consider her one of my best friends.

This past year, my skills were truly put to the test when I was asked to plan my grandparents’ first trip back to Disney World in over 20 years. Their previous visit had been a disaster. They went during spring break with no ride reservations, passes, or dining plans, only a hotel and park tickets, and they said they would never go back. My sister and I convinced them to give it another try to surprise our little cousin on his first Disney trip. The group ended up being myself, my younger sister, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and my cousin, and I was in charge of planning and scheduling every detail.

My grandparents have very high standards when it comes to travel, and by the end of the trip, they were already talking about when they could go back. It was during that trip that someone first suggested I would make a great travel agent. I had never seriously considered it as a career before, but Disney has always been my happy place, as it is for so many others, and for good reason.

I believe this passion for travel planning and for the Disney parks has been placed on my heart for a reason, and I am excited for the opportunity to turn it into a career.

I am a Disney College of Knowledge graduate, and I bring that same care and attention to every trip I plan. I take the time to get each booking right, and I keep an eye out for discounts even after your reservation is made, in case something becomes available that could help. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s completely okay. Just share what you’re hoping for, your budget, your must-haves, your travel style, and I’ll help guide you toward the right fit. I’ve spent years working in customer service, and what matters most to me is that you feel taken care of every step of the way. For snacks, I always make room for the pizza and hamburger spring rolls from the Spring Roll Cart, and no trip is complete without an orange and vanilla swirl Dole Whip. As for rides, Tower of Terror is my all-time favorite. There’s something nostalgic about it, and I’m a sucker for a good drop ride. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a very close second.
