I have been married to my husband Billy for 28 years. We have two beautiful children: Lillian age 19 and Jake age 25. We also have a fur baby named Hershey.
I retired after 29 years in education on June 3, 2022. The thing I was most often asked upon retirement: “OK, so when are you moving to Disney?” I am known in my circles as a Disney expert and lover. Disney is my Happy Place, and I love sharing the magical experience with others. I also love to travel, and create family memories all over the world.
My favorite memories of Disney all involve my children and the excitement and joy on their faces as they met their favorite character, saw a wonderful show, Lillian having a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or braved their first ride. My favorite event at Walt Disney World is the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade. I adore the toy soldiers and always cry during this parade.
I have visited Walt Disney World in a variety of settings: As a family, with several families and friends, with my daughter’s dance company, to compete in several runDisney events, and with friends who have relocated to Central Florida. I love the magical experience of Disney World, and helping others experience the Magic.
Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite Disney experience, but I have also sailed on Disney Cruise Line, visited DisneyLand on several occasions, and visited Aulani in Hawaii.

My love for Disney began when I was a young girl, and my parents took me to Disney with my brothers for a boy scout trip. During High School, I attended Benjamin Russell in Alexander City, AL, where I was a majorette in the band. We were given the opportunity to perform at Magic Kingdom during one of their parades, which was a dream come true and such an honor to have been chosen. Walt Disney’s vision was to dream, believe, dare, and do. I think this is still true today!
I began my travel experience at another home-based travel agency, where I learned about the travel business. During this time, my love for Disney and the magical experience Disney offered became the focus of my travel business.
The many years of experience in sales and the importance of customer service, loyalty, and dedication for every client to have a magical experience is when Fairytale Journeys, LLC was created. For the past 20 years, my family and I have visited Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani. I enjoy helping others plan their magical vacations to WDW. I give each client the personal service that they should have. I ensure everything is taken care of for their magical vacation from the beginning of the reservations to the end.
