Hi, I’m Julie, and I’m just a little bit “Disney obsessed”. My first trip to Walt Disney World was back in 1983, when I was 11, and Magic Kingdom itself was just 12 years old! I’ve made many more trips to Magic Kingdom over the past 4 decades, so I think it’s safe to say that MK and I have grown up together!
In the past 3 decades, I fell in love with my husband at the Dolphin Resort, took my honeymoon there, and returned multiple times with my growing family. I’ve planned trips on the tightest of budgets as well as elaborate trips with all the extras, and everything in between! Vacation planning has always been a love of mine, and planning Disney trips has always been my favorite thing to do! I’ve planned many Disney vacations for friends and family through the years, so I decided it was time to go ahead and make it my job! What could be better?

I’ve learned many tips and tricks through the years, and I want to make sure that you have the best, stress-free vacation possible!

I am a wife, mom of 4 boys, grandma, retired professional baker/bakery owner, and a crazy animal lover! But through every stage of my life, I’ve been an avid lover of all things Disney and decided it needed to be a bigger part of my life. It has always been who I am, and now it’s officially what I do! My love for Disney began when I was a young girl, and my parents took me to Disney with my brothers for a boy scout trip. During High School, I attended Benjamin Russell in Alexander City, AL, where I was a majorette in the band. We were given the opportunity to perform at Magic Kingdom during one of their parades, which was a dream come true and such an honor to have been chosen. Walt Disney’s vision was to dream, believe, dare, and do. I think this is still true today!
I began my travel experience at another home-based travel agency, where I learned about the travel business. During this time, my love for Disney and the magical experience Disney offered became the focus of my travel business.
The many years of experience in sales and the importance of customer service, loyalty, and dedication for every client to have a magical experience is when Fairytale Journeys, LLC was created. For the past 20 years, my family and I have visited Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani. I enjoy helping others plan their magical vacations to WDW. I give each client the personal service that they should have. I ensure everything is taken care of for their magical vacation from the beginning of the reservations to the end.
