Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of the longest indoor rollercoasters in the world! At the entrance of Wonders of Xandar pavilion, the first thing you see is the Nova Corps Starblaster. On the other side of the ship, you’ll arrive at the main entrance.There are several entry points for different rider categories – standby and Lightning Lane.
At the entrance of the queue you will walk through the 1st set of doors. The first thing you will see on the wall is the Wonders of Xandar.
Galaxarium
Passing through the entrance doors, you arrive in the queue area of the pavilion’s show scenes – the Galaxarium. This is a unique area that is similar to a planetarium.
The Galaxarium is a large open queue space circling the room. The ceiling screen projects the planets, stars, and other intergalactic wonders that connect Earth and Xandar
The Xandar Gallery
The second queue takes you into the Xandar Gallery with displays and projections. Guests learn more about the Xandarian people, culture, and history.
The queue to the ride is broken down into sections, so it doesn’t feel that long of a wait. During your wait you will see many intriguing items from Guardians of the Galaxy. As a result, you will listen to the iconic Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix Vol. 1!
Getting ready to board Guardians of the Galaxy:Cosmic Rewind!
The ride features Disney’s first ever reverse-launch! It’s a first-of-its-kind programmable Omni-coaster ride system. Guests can be rotated along the ride track towards the action. Due to this the motion could cause some motion sickness if you have a weak stomach. Dramamine is recommended.
When does Guardians of the Galaxy:Cosmic Rewind Open to the public?
The opening date for the public is May 27th.

New Update on Virtual Queue
According to Disney’s website, when the ride opens on May 27, guests will be required to have a virtual or individual lightning lane return time. No standby option will be available for park guests.

Guests can get a virtual queue reservation through the My Disney Experience app just
before 7 a.m. each day.
The other way to experience the attraction is with an individual lightning lane, which runs through the new personalized itinerary tool, Disney Genie.
For an additional fee, guests can pay and select a time of day to ride the new attraction.
