I have a Disney obsession. I have been to Disney World countless times. I am a Gold Disney Cruise Line member alongside my husband and 3 kids. We booked our first Disney cruise out of Galveston, Texas. Since then, we have been on 3 other cruises including 2 DVC member only cruises. I have been on one Adventures by Disney trip in California which led me to Disneyland for the first time.
My first ever trip to Disneyworld was after my twins were born – the twins were just over a year old, and my oldest daughter was 3. I was in my mid-30s and my sister-in-law was an employee at Disneyworld and convinced us to take a trip to visit her. After our first trip, we purchased DVC points (Disney Vacation Club) which was an easy decision considering we had already fallen in LOVE with everything Disney. We are now 11 years into our DVC membership. What started out as our family and extended family going to Disneyworld every couple of years has turned into sometimes going twice a year with a cruise thrown in here and there, a quick escape to Universal Studios on our day off from Disney, and even going on an Adventures by Disney trip – a worry and stress free trip completely planned out. Simply show up at your designated time and experience the magic.
I have an Undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Business Administration. I was born and raised in Lafayette, LA but moved to the Houston, TX area after getting married in 2004. Most people now consider me a Texas transplant. I am happily married to Chris K. Villemarette, who is also from Lafayette, LA, and a graduate of Louisiana State University. We have 3 children – Avery and twins Peyton and Cullen (2 girls and one boy). My love for Disney began when I was a young girl, and my parents took me to Disney with my brothers for a boy scout trip. During High School, I attended Benjamin Russell in Alexander City, AL, where I was a majorette in the band. We were given the opportunity to perform at Magic Kingdom during one of their parades, which was a dream come true and such an honor to have been chosen. Walt Disney’s vision was to dream, believe, dare, and do. I think this is still true today!
I began my travel experience at another home-based travel agency, where I learned about the travel business. During this time, my love for Disney and the magical experience Disney offered became the focus of my travel business.
The many years of experience in sales and the importance of customer service, loyalty, and dedication for every client to have a magical experience is when Fairytale Journeys, LLC was created. For the past 20 years, my family and I have visited Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani. I enjoy helping others plan their magical vacations to WDW.
